Jenny Cornish
Jenny is a Breathworks Teacher and massage therapist who is also passionate about Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation. Mindfulness and working with the body are strong elements in Jenny’s life.
She has worked in complimentary health clinics in London and Australia for over 20 years and currently runs her own massage business on the Central Coast. Jenny has qualifications in remedial massage, sports massage, Chinese acupressure, aromatherapy, Indian head massage, Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
Prior to her 'career tree change', Jenny worked in international banking in London and Sydney for 15 years.
She has run meditation and mindfulness courses and workshops in workplaces and is happy to tailor sessions to meet your needs.
Jenny has been practicing meditation, Tai Chi and Qi Gong for over 30 years. She is involved in running courses and popular retreats for the Sydney Buddhist Centre. She is a skilled therapist and teacher who brings a sense of compassion to whatever she does.
Working regularly with people in pain, who are unwell, suffering from stress, or just feeling out of sorts, Jenny finds mindfulness is an invaluable tool – for both client and practitioner.
Jim Pescud
Jim has recently retired from running Breathworks courses, but you still might see him from time to time!
Jim is a Breathworks Teacher, a rehabilitation counsellor and an experienced meditation practitioner. Jim believes the power of compassion and loving kindness are integral to the healing process.
For more than 10 years he has worked with adults who live with an acquired brain injury, and before this he worked with ex-prisoners in a half-way house, assisting residents in their transition from institutional life to community living.
Jim has an Associate Diploma in Welfare Work, a Bachelor of Social Science and a Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Counselling. For three years Jim lived in Buddhist communities and retreat centres in the UK, including six months’ intensive training at a meditation retreat centre in North Wales.
A practitioner of mindfulness meditation for more than 20 years, Jim has used mindfulness techniques widely in his work both with ex-prisoners and with people living with an acquired brain injury, as well as their carers.
Jim developed and ran a mindfulness meditation course for the Pain Clinic at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, for those living with chronic pain.
He runs one-to-one mindfulness meditation courses with private clients, as well as Breathworks courses. He is a keen student of Tai Chi.
